INTRODUCTION

Cystelia 35 Tablet is a combination of two hormonal medicines used to treat symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) such as excessive hair growth (hirsutism), acne, and irregular periods. It also works as a contraceptive, hence avoid using any other contraceptive pill.

Cystelia 35 Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time every day as it will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration will depend on what you are being treated for, but you should always complete a full course of this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, headache, weight gain, and breast pain. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Consult your doctor if you frequently experience spotting or brown discharge in the middle of the cycle. Cystelia 35 Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in regulating the production of these androgens as well as periods in females. This also helps in treating excessive hair growth (hirsutism) and acne effectively. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

Cyproterone works by blocking the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries, thereby reducing unwanted hair growth and acne. Ethinyl Estradiol enhances the effect of Cyproterone by reducing the amount of androgens in the blood. Together, they also regularize the menstrual cycle in PCOS.

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE CYSTELIA TABLET?

If you miss a dose of Cystelia 35 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
