INTRODUCTION OF RARICAP FORTE
Raricap Forte Tablet is a health supplement. It is mainly used during pregnancy and lactation. Iron is an essential element for blood production. Iron plays vital role in a variety of other important processes in the body. In red blood cells, iron combines with a protein called haemoglobin. Lack of iron in human body will cause iron deficiency anemia in both adult and children.
Folic acid helps tissues grow and cells work, works with vitamin B12 and vitamin C to help the body break down, use, and create new proteins and helps to form red blood cells. It is used to prevent anemia.

THERAPEUTIC USES OF RARICAP FORTE
Prevent and treat:
- Iron deficiency anemia
- Iron deficiency due to chronic blood loss
- Iron deficiency anaemia and nutritional anaemia during pregnancy and lactation
SIDE EFFECTS OF RARICAP FORTE
Raricap Forte Tablet may cause some side effects such as vomiting, nausea, dark colored stool, constipation or diarrhoea although not everybody gets them. Check with your physician if you notice any unusual effects while you are taking it.
HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS
Black tarry stools:
This is common when taking iron and is nothing to worry about. Talk to a doctor if your stool is black and sticky looking, has red streaks in it, or if you also feel unwell in any other way.
Constipation:
Eat more high fibre food such as fresh fruit, vegetables and cereals, and drink plenty of water. Try to more exercise regularly, for example, by going for a daily walk or run.
Nausea and stomach pain:
Try taking this tablet with, or just after, a meal or snack. Stick to simple meals and do not eat rich or spicy food. If you’re being sick, try small frequent sips of water to avoid dehydration.
Diarrhoea:
Drink lots of fluids, such as water or squash, to avoid dehydration. Do not take any other medicines to treat diarrhoea without speaking to a doctor.
SAFETY ADVICE
- Take one tablet daily after food or as advised by your doctor.
- Do not exceed recommended daily dose.
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
- Tell your doctor about all the medicines you use, including prescription and non-prescription medicines and herbal supplements.
- Raricap Forte Tablet is considered safe for use by pregnant women. It is advised to consult your doctor before taking.
