WHAT IS ALFACAL?

ALFACAL contains Alfacalcidol (vitamin D3 ) which is a vitamin D analogue
Vitamin D controls the levels of calcium and phosphate in your body (both of which are required for healthy bones and teeth). It works by increasing the amount of vitamin D in your body, which in turn increases the levels of calcium and phosphate

WHAT ALFACAL IS USED FOR?

ALFACAL is used to treat diseases such as:

Changes in bone caused by kidney failure (osteodystrophy)
Changes to your parathyroid glands (hyperparathyroidism or hypoparathyroidism)
Low levels of calcium in the blood of newborn babies (hypocalcemia)
Softening and deformity of the bones due to lack of calcium (rickets or osteomalacia)

Are allergic to any of the ingredients in ALFACAL
Have stomach or intestinal ulcers, heart, liver or kidney disease or any other medical conditions

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using ALFACAL

CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

Ask your doctor for advice before giving ALFACAL to your children

DRIVING & USING MACHINES

ALFACAL will usually not affect your ability to drive and use machines. However, check with your doctor if you feel any side effect, for example dizziness, that may stop you from driving or using machines

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor before taking ALFACAL, if you are taking any other medicine including medicines obtained without prescription or any other supplements or herbal products.

Order confirmation

When you place your order we will immediately email you an order confirmation. Within 24 hours you should receive a second email to confirm your order is now in processing. If we are unable to fulfill your order or there is a payment problem we will email you.

Shipping confirmation

Once your order is in processing it will likely be shipped that day. A shipping confirmation will be emailed to you accompanied with a track and trace number if applicable. The email will outline typical shipping times and how to contact us if you have any questions.

We can ship to your home address or to your work if you prefer.

Registered airmail is the preferred shipping method as it is more secure and less likely to be stolen or lost. It does require a signature on delivery. If you are not available at the time of delivery a notice will be left to advise of the attempted delivery and how to contact the post office to arrange a redelivery or at which post office it is be stored for collection. They will hold them there for 4 weeks before they are returned to us.

PO Boxes and APO Addresses

We can deliver to PO Boxes and APO addresses as long as the delivery method. On your My Account page, simply set your Primary Shipping Address to your PO Box or APO address as required.

Customs

We are based off shore in India and your order is treated by your local Customs as imported goods. When your parcel passes through Customs there might be a delay while they process your order. We suggest that you always allow extra time and order ahead so you are not inconvenienced during this phase. The delay can be just a few days to 3 weeks in extreme cases before they contact you.

Delivery times

We promptly ship most orders within 24-48 hours of you placing it. The delivery times are entirely due to the postal or courier service. The table above shows the typical delivery times. Please be aware that if customs hold your order for pending import duties, they could hold your order for 3-21 days prior to contacting you. If your order hasn’t arrived within the standard delivery times above, please allow an additional 7 days for delivery PRIOR to contacting us to establish if your order is simply delayed with delivery; held at customs or indeed lost.
