INTRODUCTION TO DAYCLAZIDE MP 40 MG
Dayclazide MP 40 tablet is an antidiabetic drug used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels in adult diabetics. Dayclazide MP 40 tablets should be taken with food, preferably at the same time each day. You’re doctor will decide what dose is best for you. This can change from time to time depending on you’re blood sugar levels.
Keep taking this medication even if you feel well or you’re blood sugar is under control. If you stop taking it without talking to you’re doctor, you’re blood sugar level can increase and you risk kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, and loss of limbs. Keep in mind that this is only part of a treatment regimen, which should also include a healthy diet, regular exercise and weight loss as directed by you’re doctor. You’re lifestyle plays a big role in controlling diabetes.
You should not take it if you have type 1 diabetes, if you have diabetic ketoacidosis (high blood acidity), or if you have severe kidney or liver disease. Before taking this medication, tell you’re doctor if you have ever had heart disease. It may not be appropriate. Pregnant or nursing women should also consult their doctor before taking it. You’re blood sugar level should be checked regularly and you’re doctor may also recommend blood tests to monitor you’re blood cell count and liver function.
