Are having an episode of hypoglycemia i.e. low blood sugar

HOW MUCH TO TAKE THE DRUG?
The dose of the medicine depends on several factors such as severity of your condition, type of diabetes, age, interaction with other drugs and so on. If you are suffering from type 1 diabetes, usually the doctor will prescribe the medicine with short-acting insulin. However, if you are suffering from type 2 diabetes, a dose of 10 units daily may be recommended at the beginning and then the medicine may be adjusted later according to your needs. The medicine should be taken only after consultation with the doctor.
HOW TO TAKE THE DRUG?
The medicine is to be injected under the skin. You doctor will give all the directions on how to use it. Usually the injection pen contains a total of 300 units of insulin. With each press of the injection button, the pen is designed to deliver from 1 to 80 units. The button is not to be pressed more than once unless instructed by your doctor.
FOR HOW LONG TO TAKE?
The medicine is injected under the skin usually once per day. It is advisable to inject it at the same time each day. The duration for which the medicine needs to be taken vary from case to case basis.
In case of overdose of the medicine you must get medical attention immediately. One should be very careful while using the medicine and must only takes that much of the medicine which is prescribed.
The missed dose should be taken as soon as you remember. However, only one dose should be taken over a period of 24 hours. Skip the missed dose if the time for the next dose is near.

COMMON DRUG INTERACTIONS:

Injecting cold insulin can be painful. Hence it is best to bring it in room temperature.
