WHAT IS ALASPAN ORAL?
ALASPAN ORAL contains Loratadine which belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines
WHAT ALASPAN ORAL IS USED FOR?
It helps to relieve the symptoms of,
Allergic skin reactions like rashes, hives or nettle rash
Allergic rhinitis (for example seasonal hay fever), such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose and burning or itchy eyes
TALK TO DOCTOR:
Talk to your Doctor, if you:
Are allergic or hypersensitive to Loratadine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Have severe liver problems
Are diabetics
WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS:
PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
It should not be taken if you are pregnant or breast-feeding your baby, as small amounts of this medicine can pass into breast milk
INTERACTIONS
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Cimetidine (used to treat heartburn or stomach ulcers)
Antibiotics such as erythromycin (used to treat bacterial infections)
Antifungal such as ketoconazole (used to treat fungal infections)
DIRECTIONS & FOR USE
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
Swallow the dose of this medicine and then drink some water
If you take more ALASPAN ORAL
If you take too much of this medicine, tell your doctor or contact your nearest hospital immediately
Symptoms of overdose: sleepiness, headache or a rapid heartbeat
If you forget to take ALASPAN ORAL
Take the next dose as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking ALASPAN ORAL
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
STORAGE
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25?C
