BEFORE USING THIS DRUG:
You should not use this medicine if you have any type of infection whether in your eyes or in any portion of your body, especially a fungal eye or viral eye infection (such as ocular herpes), tuberculosis, or an untreated infection such as chickenpox in your eye or elsewhere in your body.
You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to fluorometholone or other steroid medications, or if you have any type of infection, especially:
any type of viral eye infection, such as ocular herpes
a fungal eye infection
an untreated infection in your eye or elsewhere, including chickenpox
tuberculosis
Tell your health care specialist if you have:
a medical history of cataracts
a medical history of glaucoma or (ocular hypertension) increased pressure inside your eyes
HOW MUCH TO TAKE THE DRUG?
Flomex E/D 5ml eye drop are usually prescribed by an eye specialist.
Unless you’ve been told otherwise, use the drops every hour you are awake until your symptoms are controlled, and then 2-3 times a day for a few days.
HOW TO TAKE THE DRUG?
Wash your hands well before you use the drops.
Shake well the bottle and then remove the cap.
Tilt your head back a little and pull the lower lid of your eye out to form a pocket.
Hold the bottle upside down cloose to your one eye. Try not to touch your eye as you apply this.
Apply sufficient pressure to discharge one drop into your eye.
OVERDOSE:
In case if you take an extra dose, talk to your doctor and do as instructed by him.
MISS DOSE:
If you forget to place the flomex E/D ? 5ml eye drop in time, don?t double the dose to compensate the missed one. The application of the drug is to be held at the scheduled time the next night. If you have any doubt please ask your eye care specialist.
