INTRODUCTION OF PATCHEX TABLET
Patchex Tablet is a nutritional supplement containing multivitamins, multiminerals and natural extracts that are used to control the progression of skin disorders such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo, sunburn, photo-oxidative stress, etc.
Polypodium leucotomos (PL) is an immunomodulator that modulates the immune response after trauma by inhibiting Th2 (T Helper cell) pathway activation. PL also acts as an antioxidant by reducing free radicals, membrane-lipid peroxidation and reactive oxygen species such as hydroxyl radical, singlet oxygen and superoxide anion. It is also an effective chemo photoprotector against PUVA (Psolaren-induced UVA)-induced skin phototoxicity and protects skin against the damaging effects of PUVA as evidenced by histology. Picrorrhiza kurroa is an immunomodulator, hepatoprotective and anti-inflammatory agent. Ginkgo Biloba is an anti-inflammatory, immune-modulator and antioxidant agent that potentially affects the oxidative stress mechanisms of vitiligo. Silymarin stimulates melanogenesis and acts as a potent antioxidant.
