INTRODUCTIO TO SORBITRATE 10MG
SORBITRATE 10mg Isosorbide Dinitrate belongs to a family of drugs called nitrates. It dilates (widens) blood vessels, paving a clear passage for the blood to flow easily thereby helping the heart to pump blood easier. SORBITRATE 10mg is prescribed mainly to prevent angina attacks (chest pain). However, it will not treat an angina attack that has already begun. This medication may also be prescribed for other conditions not listed here.
Sorbitrate 10 MG Tablet is used in the prevention of angina (chest pain that occurs when you’re heart muscle does not get a sufficient amount of oxygen-rich blood). Angina is caused due to the narrowing of blood vessels that carries blood to you’re heart. This medicine relaxes the blood vessels and also decreases the pressure on you’re heart.
Thus, it allows the blood to flow easily to you’re heart. Sorbitrate 10 MG Tablet shows side effects like headache, flushing (redness of the face or neck), low blood pressure, change in the heartbeat, etc. It may also cause dizziness in some cases. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy after taking this medicine.
Sorbitrate 10 MG Tablet may be taken on an empty stomach. You’re doctor will decide the dose and duration of treatment based on you’re medical condition. Do not stop taking this medicine on you’re own, as you’re symptoms may get worse, especially if you stop taking it suddenly. Sorbitrate 10 MG Tablet may not work well when used for a long time. Hence, consult you’re doctor if you’re symptoms occur more often or become worse.
