INTRODUCTION OF EBAHIST 10 MG

Ebahist 10 mg Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called ‘Histamine H₁ receptor antagonist primarily used to treat allergic reactions like seasonal allergies hay fever, allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis (stuffy nose), and allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergies). Allergy is the response of the body to a foreign substance. The body’s immune system produces response by releasing antibodies known as immunoglobulin E to the foreign substance. The foreign substance called as allergens can be harmless or can cause minimal to serious allergy in the body.

Ebahist 10 mg Tablet works by blocking the effect of a natural substance called ‘Histamine’ responsible for the allergic reactions. Together it provides relief from allergic symptoms like a swollen and watery and itchy nose/throat, skin rashes, sneezing, and red/watery eyes.

Take Ebahist 10 mg Tablet  with or without food. Tablet-Do not crush, chew or break the tablet, swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Suspension-Shake the bottle well and take the prescribed dose/quantity by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack. You are advised to take Ebahist 10 mg Tablet  for as long as You’re doctor has prescribed it for you depending on You’re medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dry mouth, headache, and drowsiness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to You’re doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

To treat you condition effectually continue taking Ebahist 10 mg Tablet  for as long as You’re doctor has prescribed. To avoid recurring symptoms do not stop it midway. Consult You’re doctor before taking Ebahist10 mg Tablet if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, You’re doctor will prescribe you Ebahist 10 mg Tablet only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Ebahist 10 mg Tablet  cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Ebahist 10 mg Tablet should not be given to children as the safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Ebahist 10 mg Tablet as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness.

USES OF EBAHIST 10 MG

Seasonal allergic rhinitis (stuffy nose), Idiopathic chronic urticaria (skin rash)

MEDICINAL BENEFITS

Ebahist 10 mg Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called as histamine H₁ receptor antagonist used to treat allergic reactions like symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever), allergic rhinitis (stuffy nose), and allergic conjunctivitis (allergy in the eye). Ebahist 10 mg Tablet works by blocking the effect of histamine (chemical messenger) which is responsible for the allergic reactions, thereby provides relief from allergic symptoms such as swelling, itching, rashes, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take Ebahist 10 mg Tablet with or without food. Tablet-Do not crush, chew or break the tablet, swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Suspension-Shake the bottle well and take the prescribed dose/quantity by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack. Take Ebahist 10 mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by You’re doctor. Ebahist 10 mg Tablet  should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor. Based on You’re medical condition You’re doctor will advise for how long you need to take Ebahist 10 mg Tablet.

STORAGE

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight

SIDE EFFECTS OF EBAHIST 10 MG

Like all medicines, Ebahist 10 mg Tablet can also cause side effects, although not everybody experiences them. Headache, dry mouth and dizziness are the common side effects of Ebahist 10 mg Tablet. Please consult You’re doctor if you experience any of these side effects persistently.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNING

DRUG WARNINGS

Do not take Ebahist 10 mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Talk to You’re doctor before taking Ebahist 10 mg Tablet if you have heart disease such as ECG alteration (prolongation of QT interval). Take Ebahist 10 mg Tablet with caution if you have low levels of potassium in the blood. Avoid consuming Ebahist 10 mg Tablet along with erythromycin (antibiotics) and ketoconazole (anti fungal) as it might lead to higher levels of Ebahist 10 mg Tablet in the blood leading to toxicity. Consult You’re doctor before taking Ebahist 10 mg Tablet if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; You’re doctor will prescribe you Ebahist 10 mg Tablet only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Ebahist 10 mg Tablet cause drowsiness, and dizziness, so drive if you are alert. Ebahist 10 mg Tablet should not be given to children as the safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Ebahist 10 mg Tablet as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

DRUG-DRUG INTERACTIONS: Ebahist 10 mg Tablet may have interaction with an antifungal (ketoconazole) and antibiotic (erythromycin).

FOOD-DRUG INTERACTIONS: No food-drug interactions have been found with Ebahist 10 mg Tablet. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

DRUG-DISEASE INTERACTION: Ebahist 10 mg Tablet may have interactions with kidney impairment, liver impairment, and heart problems.

SAFETY ADVICE

ALCOHOL

CONSULT YOU’RE DOCTOR

You are recommended to avoid alcohol consumption while taking Ebahist 10 mg Tablet to avoid unpleasant side effects. Alcohol intake along Ebahist 10 mg Tablet may cause increased drowsiness. Please consult You’re doctor if you have any concerns regarding this.

PREGNANCY

Limited evidence is available on the safety of Ebahist 10 mg Tablet on pregnant women. Please consult You’re doctor before taking Ebahist 10 mg Tablet if you are pregnant, You’re doctor will prescribe you Ebahist 10 mg Tablet if the benefits outweigh the risks.

BREASTFEEDING

CONSULT YOU’RE DOCTOR

It is not known whether Ebahist 10 mg Tablet passes into the mother’s milk. Please consult You’re doctor before taking Ebahist 10 mg Tablet if you are breast-feeding, You’re doctor will prescribe you Ebahist 10 mg Tablet if the benefits outweigh the risks.

DRIVING

Ebahist 10 mg Tablet may cause dizziness and drowsiness, do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you feel dizzy.

LIVER

Safe if prescribed by the doctor in patients with mild to moderate liver impairment for up to 7 days. Dose adjustment may be needed in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult You’re doctor if you have any concerns regarding this.

KIDNEY

Safe if prescribed by the doctor for up to 5 days in patients with kidney impairment. Please consult You’re doctor if you have any concerns regarding this.

DIET & LIFESTYLE ADVISE

  • Include citrus fruits in You’re diet as they help in reducing allergy.
  • Turmeric and ginger have anti-inflammatory properties which help in reducing inflammation-driven allergy, swelling, and irritation.
  • Exercise regularly and healthy food to keep You’re immune system at bay.
  • Avoid getting in contact with allergens (allergy causing agents) such as dust, pollen, mold, insects, etc.

Order confirmation

We can ship to your home address or to your work if you prefer.

Registered airmail is the preferred shipping method as it is more secure and less likely to be stolen or lost. It does require a signature on delivery. If you are not available at the time of delivery a notice will be left to advise of the attempted delivery and how to contact the post office to arrange a redelivery or at which post office it is be stored for collection. They will hold them there for 4 weeks before they are returned to us.

PO Boxes and APO Addresses

We can deliver to PO Boxes and APO addresses as long as the delivery method. On your My Account page, simply set your Primary Shipping Address to your PO Box or APO address as required.

Customs

We are based off shore in India and your order is treated by your local Customs as imported goods. When your parcel passes through Customs there might be a delay while they process your order. We suggest that you always allow extra time and order ahead so you are not inconvenienced during this phase. The delay can be just a few days to 3 weeks in extreme cases before they contact you.

Delivery times

We promptly ship most orders within 24-48 hours of you placing it. The delivery times are entirely due to the postal or courier service. The table above shows the typical delivery times.
