Introduction:
Cremagel H Cream contains Lignocaine, Metronidazole and Sucralfate. It is used in the treatment of hemorrhoids, fistula and bed sores. Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in your lower rectum. Internal hemorrhoids tend to bleed and are usually painless. But external hemorrhoids may cause pain and is also called piles characterized by swollen veins in your anus and lower rectum, similar to varicose veins. An abnormal connection between two body parts, such as an organ or blood vessel and another structure is called fistula.
Lignocaine is a local anesthetic (numbing medication) which works by blocking nerve signals in your body. It is used to reduce pain or discomfort caused by skin irritations. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms which cause infections by damaging the DNA. Sucralfate forms a coating over the affected area of skin which creates a physical barrier that protects the skin from further other injury, allowing it to heal.
