FLUCOS 150 contains Fluconazole belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It is used to treat the infections caused by fungi and soothes irritated skin and relieves the fungal itch. It works by stopping fungi and yeasts from producing a substance called ergosterol, which is an essential component of their cell membranes. This causes holes to appear in cell membranes, which allows essential constituents of the fungal or yeast cells to leak out.
Always take this medicine as directed by physician. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of therapy depending upon your age, weight and condition. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. It is recommended for the use in children and adolescents as advised by a doctor. Do not take FLUCOS 150 if you have abnormal levels of potassium, calcium or magnesium in your blood.
